We’re thrilled to announce that Goodgrief has been featured on Fox News! The story about this one of a kind chat service aired twice on Fox 5 Atlanta, as well as the New York and Texas broadcasts. It’s been nearly 2 years since Robynne Boyd of Decatur said goodbye to her mother Carol, and her marriage.
“For a while, the world felt more untenable, it felt shakier,” Boyd says. With time, the grief has lessened its grip. “It doesn’t feel as intense, it doesn’t felt as acute,” Boyd explains. “I don’t cry all the time.”
“It’s just having someone catch you when you think you just aren’t able to make it through that moment.”
The Fox article goes on to chronicle the story of how Robynne and Kim met, and the decision to make the Goodgrief app to help others like them find someone to connect with. Being able to chat with someone who understands grief can make all the difference in the world. As Boyd states, “It’s just having someone catch you when you think you just aren’t able to make it through that moment.”
