Are you a general contractor that struggles to find the right people for the job? Are you a subcontractor who needs to find extra work opportunities in your off time? In the 2020 era of job uncertainty due to COVID-19, the need to find work and qualified labor is more important than ever. Luckily, the SubContacts app is available to help you find your match. The app is FREE to download in the App Store and Google Play Store.
Who and what is SubContacts?
The Winnona Partners team is excited to announce the release of a new client app: SubContacts. The SubContacts app is the startup brainchild of the SubContacts, Inc team in Boston, MA: David Wood, Brian Connaughton, and Jarret Carpenter.
The SubContacts team has a background in the construction space. Therefore, they recognize the importance of needing to hire extra labor to fulfill job requirements fast. On the other side of the coin, they also recognize that subcontractors can sometimes go months without work waiting for their next gig. As a result, the idea for SubContacts was born.
The Boston-based team has just released their minimum viable product (MVP) to the public. Through extensive testing and feedback from industry professionals, the team simplified the flow and look of the app over nearly a two year period. After years of development, SubContacts is available and ready to help put people to work.

SubContacts is an example of a two-sided app. You can sign up as a General Contractor or a Subcontractor and have a different user experience.

Users can create their professional profile including their company name, website, phone number, trade categories, location, and license. You can edit your profile information at any time.

General contractors can create a job listing and instantly see subcontractors that match the job location and trade category. If you’re a contractor who needs to find local labor quick, this easy to use job posting platform is perfect for you! Note: you’ll need approval before you can create a job listing.

Subcontractors can receive notifications when a general contractor posts a job that meets their location and trade category criteria. Then, it’s as simple as tapping the contact button and getting in touch with the general contractor. Finally, with the SubContacts app the jobs can come to you!
